Lefebvre Sarrut awarded a Bronze medal by EcoVadis, the world’s leading provider of sustainability ratings

Paris, 7 February 2023

Lefebvre Sarrut, European leader in legal, tax and regulatory knowledge, has been awarded a Bronze medal by EcoVadis, the world’s leading provider of sustainability ratings. In its first-ever group-wide EcoVadis assessment, Lefebvre Sarrut achieved a 52/100 score overall, quite above most other companies who average 44/100. These results reflect the group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and will help drive ongoing improvements.

Commenting on the award, Camille Sztejnhorn, Lefebvre Sarrut’s Environmental, Social and Governance Impact Director, said: “This is a first important milestone in our sustainability journey which all our employees are committed to on a long term, with the ambition to constantly improve and demonstrate with new medals. All Lefebvre Sarrut clients ask for proof of our accountability, and this acknowledgement will simplify their due diligence process. EcoVadis’s analysis also highlights areas for improvement, which we will continue to work on as we want to prioritize more and more sustainable business practices.”

Since EcoVadis launched its sustainability rating system in 2007, it has become a recognized gauge of the quality of companies’ sustainability management systems, based on their policies, actions and results. This certification is important for reassuring stakeholders, particularly employees, customers and investors, who prefer to work with responsible companies. As a family-owned group, Lefebvre Sarrut is subject to fewer reporting regulations than listed companies but has made a clear commitment to providing access to accurate information as part of its wider sustainability strategy and its mission of “enabling knowledge for a fairer, more efficient and sustainable society”.
